Nichirin swords are the main weapons of the Demon Slayers in the series. Demon Slayer. This sword or katana is specially made to be effective in killing demons.

The shape of the Demon Slayer’s nichirin sword will be adjusted to the breathing technique they use. Because the nichirin sword becomes the link for attacks produced by the technique.

Inosuke Hashibira is one of the rare Demon Slayers, as he is a two-handed fighter who uses dual swords.

The nichirin sword of this Beast Breath user has a unique appearance. Because, Dual Nichirin Katanas-It looks more like a saw because of its serrated shape.

This jagged shape is Inosuke’s own doing. When he first got his nichirin, Inosuke modified his own weapon using stones.

In addition, Inosuke’s nichirin sword is also known to be not equipped with a hilt or scabbard. Instead, Inosuke chose to wrap bandages so he could grip the nichirin.

Nichirin Tengen resembles a large machete. Because of its size, Tengen chose not to use a scabbard, but instead wrapped the weapon in cloth and carried it on his back.

It’s a bit odd actually, considering Tengen was born into a ninja family, where they would generally use samurai. However, Tengen proved to be able to master the use of the heavy nichirin machete.

It is known that Tengen also equipped his weapons with several small explosives and black kunai.

Kokushibo is the only demon on this list, because he is the only demon who uses the Nichirin sword as his main weapon.

Unlike the Demon Slayer’s, Kokushibo’s nichirin was a modified version of the demon that of course adapted his Moon Breathing Technique and Demon Blood Technique, thus creating the Flesh Katana.

Utilizing his special ability, Kokushibo is free to change the shape or size of his katana. He can also manipulate the attack range of the blood-red flesh nichirin.

When he first received the weapon made by Haganezuka, the nichirin, which was originally metallic in color, suddenly changed color to black, which was feared to be a bad omen.

However, the color of Tanjiro’s nichirin sword can change to red if burned using Nezuko’s Demon Blood Technique or when Tanjiro awakens his Demon Slayer Mark.
