O official site adaptation to anime series from the novel Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan (The story of an exploration hero who has worked his way up from common people) by Kaito, titled A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero, released the first trailer. The video reveals the production cast and the premiere in 2024.
We will then have the animation from the Gekkō studio (My One-Hit Kill Sister), directed by Tomoki Kobayashi (Utawarerumono, Takunomi., Akame ga KILL!). Meanwhile, the script is written by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Black Clover, Girls’ Last Tour) and character design by Shōko Yasuda (My Happy Marriage, Am I Actually the Strongest?). Production is by Starry Cube the music is by Keiji Inai (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?).
In the voice cast (seiyuu’s), we have:
- Yuya Hozumi (Keyaru in Redo of Healer) as Kaito Takagi
- Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Sylphy
The series Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan began to be published in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in 2019, and its seventh volume was released on September 29, 2023. Teri began publishing the adaptation for mango at Dokodemo Young Champion in August 2021. The first volume was released in February 2022.
Synopsis of Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan
Kaito Takagi, a student with a mafia character and low status, is the protagonist of this adventure story. He is an ordinary explorer who hunts slimes daily in the dungeons of Japan. One day, he finds a rare golden slime and, after defeating it, obtains a valuable “servant card”, capable of summoning mythical beings such as the beautiful warrior Valkyrie. Determined to change his life from mobster to hero, Kaito embarks on an epic journey.
