Prince Grus actually appears in the cover story.
In volume 16 cover story “Gang” Bege’s Oh My Family? (which opens chapter 966) we are shown Prince Grus entering the salon to capture Chiffon, because of Chiffon’s connection to Bege.
Gotti, one of Bege’s powerful men, tries to save Chiffon.
On the cover of chapter 969, Gotti ends up getting beat up by Prince Grus. But Gotti ends up saving Chiffon in the end.
The problem? It was later revealed that the “Chiffon” that Gotti saved was actually Lola.
Oh yeah by the way, it’s not just Grus in the cover story of chapter 966. Kujaku is also seen there.
4. The first hint of Prince Grus’s power was when he defeated Gotti.

Gotti was actually a pirate with bounty 90 million, so his abilities are definitely no joke.
Then in chapter 1061, Hibari and Helmeppo try to invite Prince Grus to Pirate Island.
This situation makes Prince Grus’ power feel like it cannot be underestimated.
In chapter 1080, we also see that Prince Grus’s power is indeed unique.
5. Prince Grus’s Power

This allows him to create and control clay.
He can also create golems with this power.
6. One of the members of SWORD

The SWORD members whose names were already known when the chapter was released were Grus, Helmeppo, Koby, X Drake, and Hibari.
In chapter 1080, another name was revealed: Kujaku, and it turns out that Kujaku has been seen with Grus several times. Including in the cover story of chapter 966, and in the scene of chapter 1061 above.
As a member of SWORD, Grus also seems to be one of the Navy members who has submitted a letter of resignation. A Navy member who is also not a Navy member.
