As one of the legendary manga and anime series that has reached more than a thousand chapters or episodes, One Piece Eiichiro Oda’s works have featured many characters who have made an impression on fans’ hearts.
Even though there is a lot of story material that never ends, fans remain loyally looking forward to the excitement they will find in the upcoming plot.
One of the most impressive things that emerged in this series was the creation of unusual relationships between the characters, especially in terms of romance.
This is a common thing that happens in anime and manga, without exception One Piece. In fact, without any element of intention on the part of the person author, fans naturally match each character as they see fit.
Unfortunately, not all couples actually deserve to be together. This can happen for a number of reasons, such as lack of chemistry, or maybe because the fate of the two are opposite.

1. Luffy and Boa Hancock

Unfortunately, looking at how the two view each other, it seems there is no future for them together. The communication between Luffy and Boa Hancock is purely because the two of them are allies.
Neither Luffy nor Boa Hancock show any desire to build a romantic story.
2. Luffy and Nami

In this case, Nami could be considered suitable if paired with Luffy. However, if we look closely at how Nami treats members of the opposite sex who are quite close to her, including Luffy, it seems there is no hope that the two of them can become a couple.
Nami respects Luffy as her captain. He was also grateful that Luffy had helped him face Arlong. However, Nami still considers Luffy to be an annoying figure. Because of that, Nami couldn’t possibly love Luffy just like that.
3. Luffy and Nico Robin

That way, Nico Robin will continue to see Luffy as his savior. She couldn’t possibly fall in love with the Straw Hat Captain.
Even if there is a moment that hints at Robin’s interest in Luffy, it is a feeling of admiration because he considers Luffy to be a figure full of humor and inspiration.
The same also applies to Luffy who sees Robin as a valuable colleague.
4. Zoro and Nami

In fact, both Zoro and Nami, they view each other as annoying individuals. Even so, both of them still hold their responsibilities as crewmates, so they continue to work together in any situation.
Seeing how Zoro and Nami interact is indeed one of the moments that some fans have been waiting for, but the two of them are not suitable when put together as a couple.
5. Zoro and Tashigi

Even so, pirates and the Navy are mortal enemies, so it is impossible for Zoro and Tashigi to be united. Moreover, both of them really hold fast to what they believe in at the moment. It’s impossible, isn’t it?
6. Zoro and Hiyori

During arc Wano, Zoro and Hiyori’s interaction is quite highlighted. Moreover, Hiyori openly shows her sincere support for Zoro.
In the end, Zoro and Hiyori had to return to focusing on their respective tasks. After it was all over, Zoro had to leave again with his crew. Meanwhile, Hiyori must stay behind so she can become the new ruler of Wano.
7. Zoro and Robin

As one of the popular characters throughout the series, Zoro is quite often paired with female characters, including Robin. However, this makes no sense because the two of them really rarely talk to each other.
So, in what way do you think Zoro and Robin could be a couple?
8. Sanji and Nami

Even so, Nami seems to deserve a much better man than Sanji, who likes to charm many women.
So, if one day Sanji decides to focus on one woman and that person is Nami, he must apologize properly as an effort to atone for his sins so far.
Sanji might succeed in winning Nami’s heart. However, Nami herself doesn’t seem interested in looking for a boyfriend at the moment. Nami’s only goal in life is to find treasure!
That’s the row pairing character One Piece which doesn’t make sense. Keep in mind, One Piece is a series shounen whose story only focuses on action and adventure without any frills romance taken seriously. This is clearly seen from the tendencies of the main protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, who is a man ahodere, namely a character who doesn’t know romantic things.
