Upper Moon Devil or Upper Moon on anime Kimetsu no Yaiba is the strongest demon chosen by Muzan Kibujitsu to carry out all his tasks and orders.

1. Kokushibo
Kukoshibo (doc. Anime Souls/Kimetsu no Yaiba)Kokushibo was the first member of the Upper Moon Demons to use the moon breathing technique like the demon hunters in Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a former demon hunter who later turned into the Upper Moon Demon.
He turned into a demon because of his obsession with power, wanting to release his curse, and was offered by Muzan. Kokushibo is the twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni, someone who has the last sun breathing technique.
2. Douma
Douma or Doma (doc. shogi-pinneaple/Kimetsu no Yaiba)Douma or Doma is the second Upper Moon Demon who is charismatic, but deadly. He became the leader of a cult called the Eternal Heaven Faith which recruited many women, made them followers, and then ate all of his followers.
He chose young women as his followers because he believed that the flesh of young women was of high quality. When fighting, Doma has a folding fan weapon that can be used as a knife or a shield from sword attacks.
3. Akaza
Akaza in the anime version (Doc. Ufotable/Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)Hakuji was a good boy. He took care of his teacher’s sick father and son. However, when everything was over. Hakuji became a Demon and changed his name to Akaza.
Akaza has skills martial arts using bare hands and a compass-like demon blood technique. He is a third-ranked Upper Moon Demon who is able to rival Doma and Kokushibo.
4. Ghost
Hantengu (doc. Shueisha/Kimetsu no Yaiba)Next is Hantengu. He is the fourth ranked Upper Moon Demon who has died and been replaced by Nakime. Hantengu has the ability to split himself. He has a nature that is easily frightened, has paranoia, and is cowardly.
As a demon, he killed and ate innocent people. However, he always thought that he was completely innocent. Hantengu also believed that when he was human, he did not have any mistakes.
5. Nakime
Nakime (doc. randomc.net/Kimetsu no Yaiba)When Hantengu died, Nakime took his place as the fourth ranked Upper Moon Demon. Previously, she was just a Biwa Demon who lived in the Dimension Infinity Fortress.
She is a subordinate of Muzan Kibutsuji who is tasked with summoning demons into the fortress to summon Muzan. Nakime is a fairly cold character, doesn’t talk much, and always speaks quite briefly.
6. Gyokko

Kaigaku (doc. Kimetsu no Yaiba Fandom)Lastly, Kaigaku is the 6th ranked Upper Moon Demon member who is the replacement for Daki and Gyutaro. Almost the same as Kokushibo, he is a demon hunter who eventually became a demon.
He is Zenitsu’s senior who wants to have more power by becoming a devil. When he was only a few months old, he even entered the Upper Moon Demon category. However, he still had difficulty using his power, so he died while fighting Zenitsu.
