Anime film A Few Moments of Cheers will donate part of proceeds to post-earthquake reconstruction of Ishikawa

A Few Moments of Cheers (Sūfunkan no Yell o), an original anime film by the screenwriter Jukki Hanadaof the Hurray! It’s from 100Studiowill premiere on June 14, 2024, and it has now been announced that a portion of the film’s profits will be donated to reconstruction efforts in Ishikawa Prefecture following the 7.6 magnitude earthquake on New Year’s Day that struck the Ishikawa Peninsula. With production by 100Studio and by the trio Hurray!the direction is POPREQ and the character design is Magotsuki. Jukki Hanada is writing the story of the film. Hanada is a veteran anime screenwriter who has written for many anime about music, including Sound! Euphonium from the Kyoto Animation!, Love Live!, Love Live! Sunshine!!, Love Live! Super star!!and still Girls Band Cry.

The sound direction is Noriyoshi Konuma and music is the responsibility of Tomoyuki Kono.

  • Mariya Ise (Himeno in Chainsaw Man) is Yu Orie, whose singing voice is by Kei Sugawara

The history of A Few Moments of Cheers begins when a high school student who makes music videos meets a teacher who has given up on music. Amateur music video creator Asaya Kanata sees teacher and musician Yu Orie singing on the street and decides to make a music video of her song.
