The anime series based on the manga Vampire Dormitory in Emma Toyama has now started showing this new trailer introducing the character Ren Nikaidoa dhampir protective of the protagonist Mito and played by Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer in GOBLIN SLAYER).
With its premiere scheduled for April 7th, the animation is from Studio Blanc. (My Girlfriend is Shobitch), directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Ayaka: A Story of Bonds and Wounds, Happy Sugar Life, Smile Down the Runway), the argument is Touko Machida (Smile Down the Runway, Fuuka, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) and the character design is by Naomi Tsuruta (2nd key animation from Pokémon: Paldean Winds).
In the cast we have:
- Yamamoto myth per Kana Ichinose (Fern in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End)
- Ruka Saotome per Shunichi Toki (Sion in The Legendary Hero is Dead!)
- Ren Nikaido per Yuichiro Umehara (Goblin Slayer in GOBLIN SLAYER)
Vampire Dormitory began to be published in Nakayoshi in November 2018 and after a hiatus returned for its second part in December 2022. Kodansha published its 12th volume on November 13, 2023.

Mito has no family to trust. She lives on the streets, disguised as a boy. Ruka is an otaku vampire only interested in 2D girls. After Ruka saves Mito from a dangerous situation, he makes her an offer: “Become my subservient slave and let me drink her blood whenever I want! In exchange, you can live with me – in the men’s dormitory!” But to stay with him, Mito must hide the fact that she is a girl. Every day is a new danger – not to mention that bloodthirsty vampire!
