You can see above a beautiful promotional video from the city of Uji which was animated by the famous animation studio Hibike! Euphonium.
This partnership is not surprising since not only the anime Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) is inspired by that area, the city is also where the studio is located, with many employees living in the city and surrounding areas. Because of this bond, the two companies partnered on a tourism campaign to highlight the romantic history of the area centered on The Tale of Genjiin Murasaki Shikibu.
The short 30-second version of the video is available above, but a longer six-minute version will be available in Uji City from March 9th.
