During the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 The Netflix announced that a third season of the animated series is in production Blood of Zeus and that this will conclude the story. A release date for Blood of Zeus 3.
Blood of Zeus is an original series from Netflix that mixes Greek mythology with animation from the studios Powerhouse Animation Studios to tell the story of Heron, a commoner who lives in ancient Greece and discovers that he is the son of Zeus.
In the description of Blood of Zeus 2 we can read:
After Zeus’s death, a power vacuum arises among the gods, leaving Zeus’s demigod son Hero to struggle to find his place. He is tormented by his loss and hears a mysterious refrain in his dreams, urging him to save his brother, Seraphim, who is suffering the terrors of the Underworld. Unbeknownst to Hero, Hades is attempting to recruit Seraphim to help him secure Zeus’s vacant throne and save his family from their long-standing suffering.
