The leak was correct and the FujiTV just announced that it will debut on the block Noitamina a second season of the anime series adaptation of the manga has yet to be revealed Call of the Night (Yofukashi no Uta) by Kotoyama (Dagashi Kashi). The first season premiered in July 2022. The animation is by the studio Liden Films (The Heroic Legend of Arslan, Terra Formars, Hanebado!), directed by Tomoyuki Itamura (Hanamonogatari, Mahou Sensei Negima!: Shiroki Tsubasa Ala Alba, Vanitas no Karte) under the supervision of Tatsuya Miyanishithe script is by Michiko Yokote (Bermuda Triangle: Colorful Pastrale, Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!, Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san) and the character designs are by Haruka Sagawa (Dounika Naru Hibi, Genji Fantasy: Neko ga Hikaru Genji ni Koi wo Shita, Itazura Majo to Nemuranai Machi). Music is the responsibility of Creepy Nuts.

Synopsis of Yofukashi no Uta (Call of the Night)
Kou Yamori looks like a typical high school student on the surface. Relatively good at studies and kind to his classmates, he goes to great lengths to maintain this facade. One day, however, he decides to stop pretending and drops out of school, developing insomnia. When he goes for a walk alone at night, he feels a little better, although he knows that his inability to sleep should be considered a serious problem.
On one of these walks, Kou meets a strange girl, Nazuna Nanakusa, who diagnoses the cause of his insomnia: despite having made changes in his life, he continues to be prevented from experiencing true freedom. She tells him that he won’t be able to sleep if he isn’t satisfied with the way he is spending his waking hours. When it appears he has resolved his current concerns, Nazuna invites him to share her futon in her apartment. After some time, unaware that he is just pretending to be unconscious, she leans over him and bites her neck.
