Check out each character who can use a Buster Call in One Piece

The Buster Call represents the marines’ definitive weapon in “One Piece”, a devastating power reserved only for extreme situations. This attack is made up of five vice admirals and a fleet of ten warships, with enough force to destroy an entire country. Given its magnitude, only a select few characters have the authority to initiate a Buster Call, and they are extremely cautious in its use, avoiding misuse of this formidable power.

Characters Authorized to Initiate the Buster Call

7. Kizaru: The Experienced Admiral

Kizaru is one of the oldest and most dangerous admirals in the series. Possessor of the Pika Pika no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit, he can create and control light at will. Additionally, Kizaru is skilled in two types of Haki and exerts exceptional control over both. As an admiral, he has the authority to perform a Buster Call, but his personal strength is such that he has never needed to resort to this extreme.

6. Akainu: The Current Admiral of the Fleet

Akainu, after defeating Kuzan on the island of Punk Hazard, rose to the rank of Fleet Admiral. He is gifted with the Magu Magu no Mi, allowing him to manipulate magma. As the Marines’ highest authority, Akainu can call a Buster Call at any time, but prefers to handle conflicts personally, avoiding the use of such extreme force.

5. Fujitora: The Only Sensible Admiral

Fujitora, who joined the Marines after a time jump through the World Military Draft, is one of the admirals selected to fill the available positions. His Devil Fruit, the Zushi Zushi no Mi, gives him control over gravitational forces, allowing him to summon meteors to cause massive destruction. Although he has the authority to initiate a Buster Call, Fujitora never did so, likely due to his compassionate nature and concern for innocent lives.

4. Five Elders: The Deities of the World Government

The Five Elders are prominent figures in the World Government, respected and admired within the organization. They act as god-like leaders in different departments and take critical decisions. Each member possesses a Devil Fruit power, granting them significant strength. Practically at the top of the command hierarchy, they have the ability to issue a Buster Call. The most recent example was that initiated by Saint Jaygarcia Saturn on Egghead Island, an event that may indicate the possibility of future Buster Calls.

3. Kong: Commander-in-Chief of the World Government

Kong, former Admiral of the Marine Fleet and now Commander-in-Chief of the World Government, is an extremely trusted figure within the organization. Although his personality and nature are less clear due to his limited appearance, his position suggests a profound responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the Marines. His authority includes him among the few who can initiate a Buster Call.

2. Ryokugyu: An Admiral Eager to Impress

Ryokugyu, one of the new admirals after the dispute between Kuzan and Akainu, shows an obsession with impressing Akainu. Possessor of the Logia-type Devil Fruit, the Mori Mori no Mi, he controls the life of plants. So far, Ryokugyu has not found the need to resort to a Buster Call, but the situation may change as the narrative progresses.

1. Im: The Sovereign of the World

Im, the mysterious ruler of the world and occupant of the Empty Throne in Marijoa, is a descendant of the Nerona Family, part of the founders of the World Government. With supreme authority, Im is depicted as cruel and arrogant, disdainful of any disrespect. They have already ordered the destruction of the Lulusia Kingdom on a whim, evidencing a willingness to use the Buster Call without compunction.

These characters, each with their own complexity and motives, play a vital role in the plot of “One Piece,” especially when it comes to their use of the Buster Call. This ability, reserved only for the highest echelons of power, serves as a crucial element in the narrative, highlighting themes of power, responsibility and the consequences of drastic actions.
