Cosplayer Attacked by Stalker at Comiket

This past weekend, Comiket, one of the largest otaku events in the world, took place in Japan. Illustrators, artists and cosplayers gathered to sell their products and interact with fans. Unfortunately, the event was marred by an incident in which a man attacked a famous cosplayer while she was taking pictures.

Keekihime, a renowned cosplayer, was at Comiket dressed as Asuka from the anime Evangelion. For those who don’t know, it’s widely believed that Keekihime is also Takanashi Kiara, the popular Hololive Vtuber, given that their voices are identical and she’s hinted at this in previous broadcasts.

During Comiket, Keekihime was taking pictures with her Asuka cosplay in the area dedicated to cosplayers and photographers. a live broadcast on Twittershe reported what happened. Keekihime spent about two hours in the area, posing for photos without any problems. With the sun shining brightly, she decided to take a break to rest.

When she returned, the area was more crowded. After looking for a quieter spot, she found a space to continue taking photos. The first person to photograph her on her return caught the moment a stalker advanced toward her. The photos below capture the incident:

Keekihime explained that the man grabbed her completely (without touching her private parts) and she started screaming for help. Fortunately, people around her noticed and managed to pull him away.

Stalker Identified

Keekihime revealed that the man is a stalker who has been following her for years. She recounted a previous incident where he followed her to the airport, forcing her to report him to the police. She has blocked him on social media, but he continues to believe that they are in love. The stalker has sent her love messages and tried to kiss her on several occasions.

Comiket staff spoke to the man, but he was later released. The police were called, but according to the cosplayer, they were unable to take action because she is not a resident of Japan.
