This Sunday, March 3rd, the Sato Cinema will air the special Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To The Hashira Training and the anime film The Boy and the Crane (The Boy and the Heron), new feature film by the legendary Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki.
O SATO CINEMA will also receive the unprecedented free exhibition: “Between Worlds: A Tribute to the Film” which pays homage to Miyazaki’s most recent feature film and takes place only on March 3, 2024. The works can be seen from 10 am to 7:30 pm in the cinema space, regardless of access to the film sessions.
Ten artists visually translate the magic of the film, capturing the poetic essence and beauty that permeates the story of The Boy and the Crane (The Boy and the Heron). The illustrations invite viewers to explore a world where reality and fantasy intertwine, celebrating Miyazaki’s unique ability to create stories that touch the heart and soul.
The invited artists are: Cinthia Saty, Guilherme Petreca, Kami Aguiar, Kleverson Mariano, Larcinha, Lygia Pires, Magenta, Groundhog vs Milky, Ots It is Paula Cruz.
