Itachi’s last moment in his life was when he fought Sasuke Uchiha, his younger brother for the last time.
The fight is quite bombastic, Amaterasu And Kirin appears, the one who emerges as the winner is Sasuke.
But did Itachi fight seriously against Sasuke here?
1. Itachi did not fight with the intention of killing Sasuke
Zetsu, who watched the Sasuke vs Itachi fight, was 100% right when he said that Itachi could kill Sasuke at any time.
Luckily Itachi did not fight Sasuke with the aim of killing his younger brother.
If Itachi’s intention was to kill or take Sasuke’s eyes, it seems like Itachi could do it easily, for example using Susano’o And Amaterasu since the beginning.
Itachi even used it Susano’o to protect him from Kirinnot because he wanted to kill Sasuke.
2. But Itachi was still serious, serious about wanting to protect Sasuke
In his fight against Sasuke, Itachi didn’t really want to kill or take Sasuke’s eyes.
Instead, from that fight he wanted Sasuke to die so he resurrected him Mangekyou.
The goal is so that Sasuke can get the revenge he has always wanted, plus Sasuke will become stronger Mangekyouand his hope is considered a Konoha hero who killed the village traitor (Itachi).
3. Itachi remains serious so that Sasuke uses all his strength and Orochimaru gets out of the cursed seal
More than that, what Itachi was after was Orochimaru getting out of Sasuke’s cursed seal.
Itachi knew that Orochimaru’s cursed seal was in Sasuke, therefore Itachi continued to pressure Sasuke so that he used all his abilities and Orochimaru came out of the cursed seal.
After leaving, Itachi’s task was complete, he sealed Orochimaru, he died, Sasuke got it Mangekyoucan take revenge, and Orochimaru’s problem is resolved.
So is Itachi serious about fighting Sasuke? The answer was serious, yes, but his intention was not to kill Sasuke.
What do you think?
