According to the Filmspot the anime movie Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning will premiere in cinemas in Portugal on June 20, 2024 with distribution by NOS Audiovisuals. There is currently no information on whether the anime film will be dubbed.
The next anime to debut in cinemas in Portugal is the special Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- formed by the last episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc and the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arcwhich is scheduled to premiere on February 22, 2024.
The history of Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning takes place in February 2012, a little after the stories of Digimon Adventure tri. and the anime Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. You can see its opening sequence below.

The producer Yōsuke Kinoshita (Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna) explained that this new film unfolds around the characters from Digimon Adventure 02. He stated that the team wanted to tell a story about Daisuke and his friends because they have a different appeal compared to Taichi/Tai and his friends from the anime series. Digimon Adventure.
