To celebrate 25 years of Digimon Premium Bandai will launch Digivices with color LCD screens. You can see the announcement trailer above.
O Digivice 25th Color Revolution It is modeled after the devices from the first season of the anime in the original white color. This version sells for 11,000 yen, around 67 euros.
O Digivice 25th Color Revolution features a color LCD screen, newly recorded voices and music from the anime, including the “Butter-Fly” theme song.
The set DX (Deluxe) includes a specially colored edition of the Digivicethemed after characters from the first season of the anime Digimon: Taichi Yagami (orange) and Yamato Ishida (blue) and a 25th anniversary art book. This deluxe edition costs around 100 euros.
You Digivices electronics allow fans to create their own Digimon from the series in a pet simulator and even digivolve them to face enemies or other players in fierce battles. Players select one of the characters from the first season of the anime to explore the island and embark on adventures.
Japanese pre-orders are open between March 10 and April 22, and the product is expected to ship in July. A special card for the Digimon card game will also come with all versions of the Digivice 25th Color Revolution as a purchase bonus.
