What do you do to support your favorite anime? Some people subscribe to streaming services and watch their anime on them, others buy merchandise, go to events and, in extreme cases, buy multiple Blu-ray copies of their favorite anime.
“Girls Band Cry” is a Toei original anime that aired last spring season. With 13 episodes, the anime is centered on music and tells the story of five girls who come together to form the band Togenashi Togeari.
Fan Purchases 20 Copies of Girls Band Cry Blu-ray Volume 1
One dedicated fan decided to purchase 20 copies of the “Girls Band Cry” Volume 1 Blu-ray and shared his achievement on Twitter:
Volume 1 of the Girls Band Cry Blu-ray includes some interesting extras, but only contains the first episode of the series. Volume 2, at least, has episodes 2 and 3.
Why Buy 20 Copies of Blu-ray?
In addition to being a huge fan of Togenashi Togeari, Volume 1 of the Blu-ray comes with a ticket to enter a raffle offering the chance to win tickets to Togenashi Togeari’s 2nd concert, which will take place in September.
In Japan, it is common to enter raffles to have the chance to buy or win exclusive items. In the post, the fan expressed his hope of winning the raffle because he really wants to see Togenashi Togeari perform.
