The official twitter of the anime series adaptation of the BL manga Twilight Out of Focus (Tasogare Out Focus) by Jyanome revealed this first promotional image.
Yoshitsugu Matsuoka like Mao Tsuchiya and Yūma Uchida as Hisashi Otomo will return to lend their voices to the characters just like in the drama CD of the manga.
The manga is available for purchase in Portugal in English here by Vertical.
Twilight Out of Focus Synopsis
Film enthusiast Mao Tsuchiya and his lone wolf roommate Hisashi Otomo make three promises:
- That Mao will never tell anyone that Hisashi is gay and has a boyfriend,
- That Hisashi will never approach Mao “that way” and
- That they will respect each other’s “private time.”
Sophomores’ ground rules should ensure a peaceful life together in their dorm, but reality is never as simple as it seems in the movies, and some things aren’t as easy to promise…
Twilight Out of Focus (Tasogare Out Focus) began to be published in Honey Milk in 2019 and its volume was released that same year in June. The second work in the series, a spinoff story titled Twilight Out of Focus 2: Afterimages in Slow Motion (Zanzō Slow Motion), was released in Japan in July 2020.
The original story continues in the third manga in the series, Twilight Out of Focus 3: Overlap (Tasogare Out Focus Overlap), released in Japan in August 2020. The fourth manga, Twilight Out of Focus 4: The Evening Monologues (Yoiyoi Monologue), presents a different story and was released in Japan in June 2021.
The fifth manga in the series, titled Twilight Out of Focus long take (long take of Twilight Out of Focus) will be released in Japan on July 12th.
