A Microids recently revealed a new trailer focused on the story of Flashback 2a game that will be released on November 16th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam).
In the description of Flashback 2 we can read:
After defeating Master Brain in the previous episode, Conrad and his allies once again face the Morph species, which threaten all civilizations. Adding insult to injury, Conrad’s best friend Ian was kidnapped before his eyes… Could this be another dirty trick by the Morphs? It will be up to you to find out who did it, and what their motivations were.
Developed in close collaboration between the team of Paul Cuisset and Microids Studio Lyon, Flashback 2 will welcome players to discover a new story that mixes action, puzzles and infiltration. This adventure will not only transport you to familiar places like Neo Washington or the Jungle, but also new ones like Neo Tokyo or a mysterious space station.
To work on this sequel and pay homage to the original game, Paul Cuisset managed to bring back some members of the team such as game designer Thierry Perreau and the composer of the famous Commodore Amiga soundtrack, Raphael Gesqua.
Flashback was praised for its innovative animation in the early 90s, the team wanted to maintain that tradition for this new episode. To achieve their goal, world-renowned actors Jamel Blissat (actor in the flesh of Oscar Isaac from Marvel’s Moon Knight) was hired to do motion capture for Conrad B. Hart.
