You Super Peace Bustersthe creative team of Hana yearthat is, the director Tatsuyuki Nagaialso director and writer Mari Okada and the artist Masayoshi Tanakaannounced that they are working on Fureruan original anime film that will premiere in Fall 2024. The anime film Fureru has the slogan “We learn the secrets of the world and its pain…”.
It was also revealed that the story follows three childhood friends who are connected by a mysterious creature. The film shows the three as young adults in Tokyo.
With direction from Tatsuyuki Nagai (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, The Anthem of the Heart, and Her Blue Sky) the animation is the responsibility of the studio CloverWorks (DARLING in the FRANXX, PERSONA 5 the Animation). The story is of Mari Okada and character design Masayoshi Tanaka. Fureru will be distributed by TOHO and produced by Aniplex.
