Game of Thrones creator talks about animated projects

game of Thrones will receive some projects animated films and their creator, George R. R. Martintalked about the exciting future of the franchise.

George R. R. Martin he wrote:

It turns out that HBO and I have our own animated projects, set in the world of A SONG OF ICE & FIRE. None of them have been greenlit yet, but I think we're close to taking the next step with some of them. When this latest round of development began a few years ago, we had four ideas for animated shows, with some great talent involved. Writers' rooms and conferences, drafts and arguments followed in due course… but unfortunately, two of the original projects were later shelved.

Second George R. R. Martin one of the live-action projects of game of Throneshas now been transformed into an animation:

However, work on the other two animation projects continues at a rapid pace… and in the meantime, we've changed NINE VOYAGES, our series about the legendary journeys of the Sea Serpent, from live-action to animation. A measure that I fully support. Budget constraints would likely have made a live-action version prohibitively expensive, with half the show taking place at sea and the need to create a different port each week, from Driftmark to Lys to the Basilisk Isles to Volantis to Qarth to …well, so on. There is a whole world out there. And we have a much better chance of showing all of this with animation. So now we have three animation projects in the works.
