Golf anime Rising Impact already has a release date

In addition to this promotional image, Netflix revealed that the first season of the anime series based on the golf manga Rising Impact in Nakaba Suzuki (author of The Seven Deadly Sins) will premiere on that streaming platform on June 22nd and its second season on August 6th, 2024.

With animation by the studio Lay-duce (O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Magi: Adventure of Sinbad), directed by Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy, Fate/Grand Order: First Order), the argument is Michihiro Tsuchiya (Bakuman, Major) and the character design is by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Chainsaw Man, DEVILMAN crybaby, Space Dandy). Music is the responsibility of Masaru Yokoyama (Yowamushi Pedal, Chihayafuru).

In the cast we have:

Nakaba Suzuki serialized the manga Rising Impact in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1998 to 2002. The manga has 17 volumes.

In the description of Rising Impact we can read:

The golf manga “Rising Impact” – the first serialized manga by Nakaba Suzuki, author of the highly successful “The Seven Deadly Sins” series – began running in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1998 and gained enthusiastic fan support. And now, 25 years later, it is finally being adapted into an anime! Over two seasons, this series follows the growth of student Gawain Nanaumi as he learns about golf and competes with his rivals.
