The history of Great Pretender razbliuto It revolves around Dorothy, a talented con artist, who is supposedly dead after losing a game with a Shanghai organization. She finds herself in a small town in Taipei, with no memory of her past. Persecuted by Taipei’s black society, Dorothy heads to Kyoto, but something awaits her there too.

Makoto Edamura is supposedly Japan’s biggest swindler. Together with his partner Kudo, they try to trick a Frenchman in Asakusa, but are unexpectedly tricked. The Frenchman, who they tried to deceive, turns out to be Laurent Thierry, a “trusted man” of a much higher level, in control of the mafias.
