A FujiTV revealed that the anime series adaptation of the manga Honey Lemon Soda in Mayu Murata will premiere in January 2025 (Winter anime season) on the block +Ultra.
Animation is the responsibility of the studio JC Staff (Edens Zero), the direction is Hiroshi Nishikiori (A Certain Magical Index, IDOLiSH7 the Movie LIVE 4bit BEYOND THE PERiOD), the argument is Akiko Waba (Blue Reflection Ray) and the character design is by Aimi Tanaka (animation direction for Sugar Apple Fairy Tale). Music is the responsibility of Akira Kosemura (Ao no Orchestra).

Honey Lemon Soda began publication in Shueisha’s Ribon in December 2015. The manga has more than 12 million copies in circulation.
The history of Honey Lemon Soda takes place around Uka Ishimori, who doesn’t have any good memories of his high school years. Now 15 and in high school, Uka is trying to “graduate” from her former self, but it’s not going well. That’s when she meets her classmate Kai, who has lemon-colored hair.
The live-action film adaptation of the manga Honey Lemon Soda premiered on July 9, 2021.
