I May Be a Guild Receptionist anime will debut in 2024

In addition to this promotional image, the official website for the anime series adaptation of the novel, I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time (Guild no Uketsuke Jō Desu ga, Zangyō wa Iyananode Boss o Solo Tōbatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu) by Mato Kousaka revealed the staff and confirmed the debut in 2024.

We now know that the animation is from the studio Cloverworks (The Promised Neverland, Wonder Egg Priority), directed by Tsuyoshi Nagasawa (Clockwork Planet, Nyaruko: Crawling with Love!), the argument is Misuzu Chiba (Aikatsu! Planet, Chi’s Sweet Adventure) and the character design is by Yoshihiro Nagata (Shine Post) and Shinichi Machida (To Me, The One Who Loved You).

Rie Takahashi will play the protagonist Alina Clover, which you can see in the promotional image above.

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, But I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time began to be published in March 2021 and Dengeki Bunko published the seventh volume in June 2023. Suzu Yūki launched the manga adaptation in the magazine Monthly Comic Dengeki Maoh in August 2021 and the Dengeki Comic Next published its 4th volume in February 2024.

Alina Clover signed up to be a receptionist at the Adventurers’ Guild, thinking that this would be her ticket to a good path. Unfortunately, her dream job quickly turns into an overtime nightmare whenever the adventurers become trapped in a dungeon.
