A King Amusement Creative started showing this new trailer for the original anime series Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night (Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai) where it is revealed that the premiere will take place in April 2024.

This anime will celebrate the studio’s 50th anniversary Doga Kobo (Oshi no Ko, New Game!, Ikebukuro West Gate Park). With the story taking place in Shibuya, this is an original work by JELEE with direction from Ryohei Takeshita (Eromanga Sensei). The script is by Yūki Yaku (author of Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki) and the character design is by Junichirō Taniguchi (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru) based on the drawings of popman3580.

“I want to find out what I like.” Shibuya, a city full of identities. A girl who wanders through the Shibuya ward at night and cannot become anything begins to change after a special encounter with another person. A coming-of-age story by Ryouhei Takeshita, director of “Eromanga Sensei”, and Yuki Yaku, author of “Jaku-Chara Tomozaki-kun”, presented by Doga Kobo, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The girls’ anonymous creative activities finally begin.
