Kagaku Manga Survival anime series announced

The newspaper Asahi Shimbun revealed that an anime series adaptation of the manga is in production Kagaku Manga Survival (Science Manga Survival).

With more than 14 million copies in Japan, the colorful series of manga and study books was launched in 2008, with the Asahi Shimbun having already published 85 volumes.

The series originated in South Korea by Gomdori Co. and illustrator Hyun-Dong Han. The series follows children through various adventure situations while incorporating information about science into the story.

A Toei Animation produced a 100-second animated video for the manga in March 2019. At the time, Mainichi Shimbun’s Mantan Web listed the video as a pilot film.

A At Starch Press released some of the series in English under the title Survive! Inside the Human Body.

A Toei produced an anime film adaptation of the manga titled Survive! Inside the Human Body (Jintai no Survival), shown alongside the film Ganbareiwa!! Robocon in Japan in July 2020. A second film titled Shinkai no Survival! (Survive! In the Deep Sea) premiered in Japan in August 2021.
