To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Liz to Aoi Tori (Liz und ein Blauer Vogel / Liz and the Bluebird), the first of two films in the franchise Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) by Kyoto Animation, PREMICO revealed this music box limited to 500 copies. You can see above the advertising video for this box which contains the theme “A Decision of Love”.
The price is set at 38,280 yen (245 euros), and the music box will ship based on first orders from the end of July 2024.
Liz to Aoi Tori tells a new story of Nozomi Kasaki and Mizore Yoroizuka. The direction is Naoko Yamada (K-ON!, A Silent Voice).
The story begins when Kumiko Omae, a girl who was in the high school brass band, visits the high school brass band as a newcomer. Kumiko’s classmates Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the band, but Kumiko sees her old classmate Reina there and hesitates. She remembers an incident she had with Reina at the high school brass band competition…
The Kitauji Music club used to advance to the national competitions but since the change of advisor they have not been able to advance beyond the Kansai tournament. However, thanks to rigorous instruction from a newly appointed counselor, the students are gradually improving. The club members’ daily lives are full of ups and downs, including struggles over solos and the decision to give up club activities to focus on studies.
