Mashle’s opening was copied in Myanmar

In January, the second season of the anime Mashle premiered and with it came the song “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born” by Creepy Nuts and this song exploded with several dances on social media, even those who hadn’t seen the anime started watching it because of this music! (I know some cases).

You can listen to the song below:

And well, what happens to cool songs that become extremely popular? COPIES!

Mashle’s opening was copied in Myanmar

Directly from Myanmar, a music video emerged about a month ago that left certain otakus from that country ashamed and the Japanese ended up discovering it.

Released by Thu Kyaw Thu HD Production, the song has a chorus very, very similar to the opening of Mashle, listen to their version below which already has more than 300,000 views:

Going to the comments you can see some opinions from local people and some even apologizing to Japan for copying their music:

“I’m leaving Myanmar now.”

“I’m from Myanmar and I’m very angry about this. This is total plagiarism. I want you (Japanese) to know that not all of us in Myanmar are like this. We respect everything about Japan: culture, language, tradition, anime, music, manga.”

Let’s see how some Japanese reacted to the video?

  • “What kind of music video is this?”
  • “Plagiarism is common in the music industry, so there’s not much you can do.”
  • “Sometimes plagiarism can even be a good thing.”
  • “Isn’t this an unauthorized cover?”
  • “I’m surprised by how straightforward this is.”
  • “This is so plagiarized it’s hilarious.”
  • “It’s an exact copy.”
  • “It’s amazing how someone could do something so shameful.”
  • “Japanese music is finally being plagiarized abroad. I’m so proud.”
