Message from Goku’s voice actress about the death of the Dragon Ball author

The voice actress Masako Nozawa (Goku’s voice) published a message expressing his pain over the death of Akira Toriyamathe creator of Dragon Ball.

The 87-year-old veteran voice actress stated:

I do not want to believe. My head is empty because I don’t want to think about it. Still, every time I see Goku, I remember what Toriyama Sensei told me: ‘You’re going to take care of Goku, aren’t you?’ I cherish this moment. That makes me think: ‘I’m going to stay by Goku’s side until my strength is completely exhausted’. Sensei, please watch over us from the heavens. We hope you leave in peace.

Dragon Ball began in 1986, with Nozawa taking on the role of the anime’s hero ever since. Although there are several voice actors who have played Goku in other countries, Nozawa It was never replaced in Japan.
