In the same interview with GameWatch on what Phil Spencer stated that the Game Pass price increase was inevitable, the CEO of Microsoft Gamingalso revealed that the Microsoft is working with Japanese studios to develop new games for Xboxsome of which have not yet been announced.
Phil Spencer stated:
You can count on that. We actually released “Hi-Fi RUSH” this year. Although it was a small work and not a masterpiece like “Blue Dragon”, it was a high quality work. Japanese game developers are also part of Microsoft Game Studios, and while there are some titles that cannot yet be announced, we are working with Japanese developers to develop new games. The development environment is growing, including first-party and third-party, so I think we can expect more Japanese titles to appear in the future.
