With this promotional video, Sunrise announced that it is in production Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans – Urdr Hunt (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans – Urdr Hunt), a soinoff anime series from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans).
The first anime series by Gundam: Iron-blooded Orphans debuted in 2015 and the second in 2016.
The direction is Tatsuyuki Nagai (Toradora!, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day) and the character design is by Michinori Chiba (Gundam 00, Gundam AGE).
In Gundam: Iron-blooded Orphans The story takes place 300 years after the great war “Yakusai-sen (Disaster Festival War)” and follows Mikazuki Augus, a young man who works for a private security company on Mars, Chryse Guard Security (CGS) and who later becomes the pilot of the Gundam Barbatos. After accepting the job of protecting a young girl named Cuderia Aina Bernstein, he becomes involved in several battles because she is trying to make the city of Chryse independent of Earth.
