A Twin Engine has put online a new trailer highlighting the action scenes of Demonic Mononoke: Karakasa (Paper Umbrella), the anime film by Mononoke which will premiere on July 26, 2024.
Produced by Twin Engine the animation is from EOTAthe direction is again Kenji Nakamurathe character design is Kitsuneko Nagata and the music was delivered to Taku Iwasaki. The anime film was supposed to premiere in 2023, but was postponed to this year.

The anime Mononoke premiered in 2007 with 12 episodes. The series is a spin-off of the anime Ayakashi – Samurai Horror Tales. Specifically, it follows the medicine seller from the “Bakeneko” (Goblin Cat) arc. The anime Mononoke has five arcs, the last of which is titled “Bakeneko”.
Kenji Nakamura directed the anime series in Toei AnimationIt is Takashi Hashimoto designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Yasuharu Takanashi composed the music.
