Synopsis
Yuta Okkotsu is a nervous high school student who is suffering from a serious problem—his childhood friend Rika has turned into a curse and won't leave him alone. Since Rika is no ordinary curse, his plight is noticed by Satoru Gojo, a teacher at Jujutsu High, a school where fledgling exorcists learn how to combat curses. Gojo convinces Yuta to enroll, but can he learn enough in time to confront the curse that haunts him?

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: Tokyo Toritsu Jujutsu Koutou Senmon Gakkou, or Jujutsu Kaisen 0 for short, is a prequel to the popular anime series Jujutsu Kaisen, based on the manga by Gege Akutami. It tells the story of Yuuta Okkotsu, a young man who is haunted by the ghost of his childhood friend Rika, who died in a car accident. Rika is not a friendly spirit, but a powerful and violent curse that protects Yuuta from any harm. Yuuta is unable to control Rika’s actions, and he wishes to be isolated from the world so that no one else gets hurt by her.
However, his life changes when he meets Satoru Gojou, a master sorcerer who works at the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical School, a special institution that trains exorcists to fight against curses. Gojou offers Yuuta a chance to join the school and learn how to tame Rika, as well as use his abilities to help people. Yuuta agrees, and he becomes a first-year student at the school, along with Maki Zenin, a girl who uses weapons to compensate for her lack of innate power; Toge Inumaki, a boy who can cast spells with his words; and Panda, a talking panda who is also a skilled fighter.
