MSI CLAW: The First Handheld Gaming PC with Intel Meteor Lake and XeSS

MSI has unveiled its first portable gaming device, the CLAW, at the CES 2024. The CLAW is a handheld gaming PC that features the Intel Core Ultra 100 series processor with Xe-LPG graphics, also known as Arc. The CLAW also supports the Intel XeSS upsampling technology, which enhances the graphics quality and performance of games.

Features of MSI CLAW

The CLAW has a 7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The device also has a built-in keyboard and a touchpad, as well as a detachable controller that can be attached to the sides of the device. The CLAW has a 53 Whr battery that can support up to two hours of AAA gaming on a single charge. The device also has WiFi-7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, which are not available in other portable gaming devices such as the ROG Ally or the Legion GO.

Specifications and Pricing of MSI CLAW

MSI CLAW will be available in two models: the base model and the premium model. The base model will cost $699 and will have an Intel Core Ultra 5 155 processor, 512 GB of storage, and 16 GB of RAM. The premium model will cost $799 and will have an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, 1 TB of storage, and 32 GB of RAM. Both models will have the same display, keyboard, touchpad, controller, battery, and connectivity features.

Availability of MSI CLAW

MSI CLAW will be launched during the first half of 2024. MSI has not announced the exact release date or the regions where the device will be available. However, MSI has said that the CLAW will be compatible with most of the popular PC games and platforms, such as Steam, Epic Games Store, and Origin.
