At the AnimeJapan 2024 This trailer for Part 2 of the second season of the anime series adaptation of the novel was shown Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation (Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu) where we can hear the ending theme “Mamoritaimono” (What I Want to Protect) by Yuiko Ōhara.

With its premiere scheduled for April 7th, although the animation is again from Studio Bindmanagement passed into the hands of Hiroki Hirano who was assistant director of the first season and now replaces Manabu Okamoto (The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls, Gamers!).

The story of the anime has now passed into the hands of Toshiya Oono (86: Eighty Six, The Promised Neverland, Houseki no Kuni) and Sanae Shimada (Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda) becomes responsible for character design and animation direction, thus replacing Kazutaka Sugiyama (animation director on DARLING in the FRANXX, key animator on The Promised Neverland). The soundtrack is the responsibility of Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Houseki no Kuni, Isekai Cheat Magician, Love Live! School Idol Project).

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) began publication in January 2014. The manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa began to be released in May 2014.

In the story we follow a thirty-four year old unemployed otaku who reaches a dead end in life and decides that it is time to turn over a new leaf – he is run over and dies! He is reborn in the body of a child in a strange new world of swords and magic.

His new identity is Rudeus Grayrat, but he still retains memories of his previous life. Follow Rudeus from childhood to adulthood as he struggles to redeem himself in a wonderful but dangerous world.
