Here are the nominees for the 17th edition of the Manga Taisho Awards (Cartoon Grand Prize).
The nominating committee is primarily comprised of bookstore employees responsible for the manga in their respective stores. This year’s nomination committee was made up of 101 people, who selected 257 titles. Any manga title released in 2023 and with eight volumes or less is eligible. The volume limit is intentionally added so that the prize winners are relatively new works that have not yet gained popularity due to their longevity.
