The anime movie Fureru has the slogan “We learn the secrets of the world and its pain…” and below you can see a promotional image.
Under the direction of Tatsuyuki Nagai (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, The Anthem of the Heart, and Her Blue Sky) the animation is the responsibility of the studio CloverWorks (DARLING in the FRANXX, PERSONA 5 the Animation). The story is by Mari Okada and the character design of Masayoshi Tanaka. Fureru will be distributed by TOHO and the production is by Aniplex.

The story follows three childhood friends who are connected by a mysterious creature. The film takes place in Takadanobaba, a different location from the team’s previous setting in Chichibu in the Super Peace Busters trio’s three previous works (Chichibu is Mari Okada’s hometown).
