The official twitter of the anime series adaptation of the manga Skip and Loafer (Skip to Loafer) written and illustrated by Misaki Takamatsu posted this promotional image online to celebrate the first anniversary of the anime’s premiere.
The animation is from the studio PA Works (True Tears, Angel Beats!, Another, Shirobako, Charlotte), directed by Kotomi Deai (Natsume’s Book of Friends), the character design is by Manami Umeshita (Stella Women’s Academy, High School Division Class C3) and music is the responsibility of Takatsugu Wakabayashi (Dragon Academy).
The opening theme is “Mellow” by Keina Suda and the ending theme is “Hanauta to Mawari Michi” (Humming and Detour) by Rikako Aida.

Synopsis of Skip to Loafer
Iwakura Mitsumi always had big dreams: leaving his small town, entering a high-level university and contributing to the country before retiring in his hometown. She is so focused on her goal that she doesn’t notice all the other ways in which she has failed, much to the chagrin and concern of her friends and family. Can a naive peasant girl succeed in the big city, that is, in Tokyo?
