NHK revealed this promotional image for the anime series adaptation of the manga Dog Signal in Saya Miyauchi. The premiere will take place on October 22, 2023.

Synopsis of Dog Signal
The manga’s story revolves around a novice dog trainer named Miyu Samura. Miyu’s ex-girlfriend left him with a dog that he didn’t really know how to take care of. One day, he meets Shinichirō Niwa, a dog trainer, and the indecisive Miyu’s life begins to change. Shinichirō also introduces Miyu to animal keeper Ritsuka Izumi and veterinarian Suzunosuke Kubō.
The story shows the struggles of dog owners, as well as the connection between humans and their animals.
