Initially it was just the first episodes, but two months before its premiere all episodes of the remake of Ranma ½ have now been made available online illegally.
According to different sources, this material was obtained through a ‘hack’ on Netflix or from a dubbing studio. The episodes are available in low resolution, 360p.
In addition to Ranma 1/2other animes also had episode leaks like Terminator Zero, Dandadan and the anime movie Mononoke the Movie: Phantom in the Rain.
A Netflix faces a huge challenge with this massive leak, which not only compromises the exclusivity of its content, but can also affect its reputation and subscriptions. Users may choose not to subscribe to the service if they can access content illegally, even if it is of low quality.
On the other hand, the MAPPAthe studio responsible for the remake, could also be seriously affected. The leaks could reduce the public’s interest in watching the series when it finally premieres, which could translate into financial losses and less investment in future projects.
The production of this remake of Ranma ½ is in charge of the studio MAPPA (Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen, The God of High School, Dororo, Dorohedoro), with Konosuke Uda (One Piece, Sailor Moon) in the direction.

Ranma 1/2 Synopsis
The story revolves around a teenager named Ranma Saotome, who has been training in martial arts since childhood.
