Expectations were high and fans lived up to the hype, within 24 hours the first trailer was released Grand Theft Auto VI surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, becoming the video with the most views in its first 24 hours, thus dethroning the record for Mr Beast. At the time of writing this article, the trailer already has 113 million views.
GTA VI will be released in 2025, 12 years after its predecessor. When Grand Theft Auto VI is released, it will be the 8th main game in the franchise and the 16th overall.
Grand Theft Auto VI is under development for PlayStation 5 It is Xbox Series X/S. A version has not yet been announced. PRAÇAalthough PC releases of games from Rockstar Games usually come after the games are released on consoles.
