This week is being marked by multiple anime leaks, and after Dandadan, Ranma ½ It is Mononokewas now the first episode of the third season of the anime adaptation of the novel Re:Zero in Tappei Nagatsuki It is Shinichirou Otsuka to be made illegally available online ahead of its October 2024 premiere.
The leak is of good quality and as we previously reported it is a 90-minute special dubbed “Gekijō-gata Akui” (Theatrical Malice), the equivalent of 4 episodes.
The episode of Re:ZERO 3which is available with French subtitles, suggests that the leak comes from materials intended for the event Japan Expo Paris 2024where the early premiere of the first special episode was planned.
Interestingly the Crunchyroll canceled this showing for fear that someone in the audience would record and distribute the episode on the internet, and now that’s exactly what happened with the episode.
Re:ZERO 3 will premiere in October 2024. The opening theme is “Reweave” by Konomi Suzuki which returns from the previous two seasons, and the closing theme is “NOX LUX” by MYTH & ROID.

The first season of 25 episodes premiered in April 2016 with animation by the studio WHITE FOX (Steins;Gate) and direction by Masaharu Watanabe (episodes from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya).
From November 8 to 14, 2019, the OVA was shown in Japanese cinemas Re:Zero Hyouketsu no Kizuna (Frozen Bonds) which showed the meeting between Emilia and Pack. The previous OVA, Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Memory Snow premiered in Japanese theaters on October 6, 2018.
The anime series Re:ZERO 2 premiered in July 2020 and was divided into two parts.
In the description of Re:ZERO we can read:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who is lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to return the favor, but the fate she is carrying is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both are killed. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened before.
