The event AnimeJapan 2024 is being held this weekend in Japan and it has been revealed that the third season of the anime adaptation of the novel Re:Zero in Tappei Nagatsuki It is Shinichirou Otsuka debut in October 2024. The first trailer for the new season of the anime was also revealed.
The first season of 25 episodes premiered in April 2016 with animation by the studio WHITE FOX (Steins;Gate) and direction of Masaharu Watanabe (episodes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya).
From November 8 to 14, 2019, the OVA was shown in Japanese cinemas Re:Zero Hyouketsu no Kizuna (Frozen Bonds) which showed the meeting between Emilia and Pack. The previous OVA, Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu – Memory Snow premiered in Japanese cinemas on October 6, 2018.
The anime series Re:ZERO 2 premiered in July 2020 and was divided into two parts.
Synopsis of Re:ZERO
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who is lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a pretty silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to return the favor, but the fate she is carrying is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both are killed. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened earlier.
