An anime series adaptation of the RPG is in production Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin (Tensui no Sakuna Hime) by PA Works (True Tears, Angel Beats!, Another, Shirobako, Charlotte). The premiere will take place at the end of 2024 and you can see the announcement video above.

In the game, players will take on the role of Sakuna, a proud and lonely harvest goddess who is banished to a dangerous island with a group of outcast humans. As she dominates the island defeating demons in beautiful and mysterious natural settings, she will also find a home in a mountain village, proving herself worthy of her title by harvesting rice and improving the lives of humans.
