With the first season scheduled for April 5th, at the concert “THE IDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS 6th LIVE TOUR Come and Unite! Brilliant Bloom” was announced that a second season of The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors.
It was also revealed that The Idolm@ster Shiny Colors 2 will debut in the anime season of fall 2024, after a theatrical release on July 5th. A release model similar to the first season of also 12 episodes, which was also transformed into 3 films that premiered in theaters in advance.
The first film will be shown from July 5th to 25th, the second film from August 23rd to September 12th and the third film from September 20th to October 10th.

With animation by Polygon Pictures (Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Ajin, Knights of Sidonia), directed by Mankyū (Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Theater, The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague) and the story is by Yoichi Kato (The IDOLM@STER Million Live!, Aikatsu!).
The IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors is a game that was released in April 2018. In the free game (with in-game purchases), players train idols and compete against other producers/players online in live shows. In addition to the game itself, the project generated shows, products, CDs and radio programs.
