O Official Twitter adaptation to anime from the manga Nights with a Cat (Yoru wa Neko to Issho) from Kyuryu Z, revealed today, February 22 (Japan’s unofficial Cat Day), that the third season is already in production. Along with the announcement, two new visuals for the new season were revealed.
The production cast will be the same as the first and second seasons, with animation by Studio Puyukai (Kaiju Girls, Lord Marksman and Vanadis, Pure Pure Purea Desu Overlord), direction and script by Minoru Ashina (Isekai Quartet, Kaiju Girls), while the Character design is by Minoru Takehara (Isekai Quartet, Ple Ple Pleiades). The music is by Kana Utatane (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform, Mieruko-chan).
O anime premiered its first season on August 3, 2022, with a total of 30 episodes broadcast weekly on the official YouTube channel. While the 2nd season premiered on March 8, 2023.
Kyuryu Z published the mango for the first time on his personal Twitter account, which made him a success. Kadokawa published the 5th volume of the manga on July 27, 2023.
