During a live broadcast held this Tuesday, it was revealed that the second part (2nd cour) of the 2nd season of the anime series adaptation of the novel The Misfit of Demon King Academy (Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha) by Shu with illustrations by Yoshinori Shizuma It will premiere on April 12th.
A trailer was also revealed, with a snippet of the song “Maō” (Demon King) that will be sung by the band BURNOUT SYNDROMES, and a promotional image (check it out below in the article).
The staff is the same so we have animation at the studio SilverLink (Boufuri, Ange Vierge, Dusk maiden of Amnesia), the chief director is Shin Oonuma (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, A Sister’s All You Need), directed by Masafumi Tamura (Two Car, Wise Man’s Grandchild) and Mirai Minato (Masamune-kun’s Revenge, Miss caretaker of Sunohara-sou) is assistant director. The argument is Jin Tanaka (Laid-Back Camp) and the character design is by Kazuyuki Yamayoshi (Chaos;Child). The sound direction is Ryousuke Naya and the music is from Keiji Inai.

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha began to be published by Shu in April 2017 at Shōsetsu ni Narō. The manga adaptation by Kayaharuka began to be published in July 2018 in Manga Up! from the Square Enix.
