Synopsis of Urusei Yatsura

Not much is said about the lecherous Ataru Moroboshi, but his extraordinary bad luck stands out like horns on an alien’s head. When Earth is threatened by a fleet of alien invaders known as Oni, Ataru is selected to represent humanity in a one-on-one duel. It is a stroke of luck for Ataru that the duel is truly a game of tag, and that his opponent is Lum, the daughter of the Oni leader, who puts her personal dignity above victory when Ataru takes off the top part of her brindle bikini by mistake and thus takes victory. However, misfortune reappears when Lum mistakes Ataru’s promise to marry her girlfriend, Shinobu Miyake, and by exerting her influence as an alien princess moves in with her self-styled Darling.
