Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with 10 million copies worldwide

A Activision and the FromSoftware announced that the game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has sold more than 10 million copies worldwide in Playstation 4at Xbox Series and in PRAÇA (Steam) since its launch on March 22, 2019.

In addition to receiving numerous awards, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice was also named game of the year 2019 in the The Game Awards 2019 which took place on December 13, 2019.

The history of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice takes place in Japan in the Sengoku period at the end of the 16th century. The player takes control of a shinobi who was left for dead after his master was kidnapped and his arm was cut off by a samurai from the Ashina clan. The shinobi wakes up to discover that his missing arm has been replaced with a prosthetic by a mysterious busshi who calls him Sekiro, or “the one-armed wolf.” Armed with a katana and the prosthesis, which allows the installation of various tools and gadgets, he decides to rescue his lord and seek revenge.
